We offer the students the nutrition they need so they can focus on the learning. A variety of menu items that include lots of chicken, turkey, fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, lower sugar cereals, and a variety of entrees. Menus are planned to meet the strict USDA Federal guidelines, and are analyzed on a weekly basis. The following are the targets that must be met on a weekly basis: 785 Calories; Total Fat: less that 30% of calories; Saturated Fat: less than 10% of calories; Protein 15 gms; Calcium 370 mg; Iron 4.2 mg; Vitamin A 285 (RA); and Vitamin C 17 mg.
We encourage students to take and try a variety of menu items!
